I think the way we handled this win, ... is almost as important as the victory itself. This is a mature team, and they know what's ahead. I think they understand that what we have to do now is go out and validate this victory.

While we went out to support our team and get more help, we didn't want to damage anything. We didn't jeopardize our first-round picks, we didn't want to hurt our salary cap flexibility and we didn't want to add a player that didn't understand what the coach wanted and was trying to create here.

He finally came out and told us he wanted this victory. Leading up to the game, practice, you could tell that coach, he wasn't getting too caught up in this. But he wanted this victory bad.

We got a victory against the leading team in our division. T come out and get a victory and have a career night is always fun.

It's important to start 1-0; we've never done that under coach Dorrell. We don't want to go 6-6 again. We want to go 11-0.

It hurt when Coach McDowell left because he pushed me to work hard. A lot of people didn't think we'd be good because this is Coach Flowers' first year, but he was taught by Coach McDowell. Coach Flowers is a little more calm than Coach McDowell. Coach McDowell would get after you.

That's an amazing accomplishment for coach and I'm glad that I'm on the team that got coach is 200th victory.

The pressure didn't hurt us at all. That helped. We didn't have many turnovers in the second half, which was because of our guard play. They handled the ball, made some good looks and ran the offense well. So I was really pleased with them.
