It has been a complete rebuilding process. And I don't think people really acknowledge - or know enough to acknowledge - what an unbelievable job Bob has done and how much of his heart and soul he's poured into that place. This is one of the great rebuilding jobs over the last couple decades, and it's pretty incredible.

Certainly, I'd think Beauvoir would be eligible and a priority. Thousands of historic structures were damaged by last year's hurricanes. These funds are important to ensure the full economic and cultural recovery of the Coast.

Whether the recovery from Katrina adds to demand for construction materials depends on the types and speed of rebuilding in damaged areas.
