en It was a typical Dodger-Mason City game. It was their Homecoming, and they came out fired up and ready to play. We expected nothing less.

en I talked to them last summer. They were looking forward to the game, of course. It's a homecoming game for them. They'll be ready to play.

en We have a lot of experience out there, but we don't want to look past R-B. They did not play well against us last time and it wasn't a typical game for them. (Head coach Tom McCloskey) always has them fired up for the playoffs.

en In the VOL, you have to get over that victory and move on to the next game. It's Sonora's homecoming, so we know they're going to be very fired up and motivated.

en It's pretty typical that we can't play in Steamboat this early in the season, but what's not typical is that we can't play in Craig. en I actually got into Mason City on Dec. 17. I really won't know about Mason City until I get back from Christmas.

en And it's our homecoming week. As a coach, homecoming has always bothered me, but it's one of those things you've got to live with. Hopefully we can stay focused for this Charter Oak game.
