I thought the key later on in the game was our play in the third quarter. We came out of the locker room and said we were going to make a run. That was the time, and I thought we were there to answer it. We got back on our game early in the third quarter and that is when the game was decided.

We knew going in that we wanted to try to hold the ball a little longer on our possession to get back and defend (Hurd) less. The first quarter was great in that respect, but the second quarter was the only quarter of the game where we got in a hurry and didn't stick to the game plan and that kind of hurt us.

It was an outstanding game. The one thing I liked about Ben was when the game was there in the fourth quarter, he never really fretted. He hung in there and threw a great [46-yard] pass to Lee Mays on the third down [late in the fourth quarter], which I thought was the biggest play of the game.

Anytime you can hold a team to zero points for a whole quarter, you have to tip your hat to the guys in the locker room. We always try to set the tempo during a game. Today, they slowed it down on us. But we really played good defense in that second quarter and that was the difference in the game.

We looked good in the first quarter. But we need to be sharp the whole game. We need to get to where we play the fourth quarter like we played in the first quarter.
