en We're keeping an eye on Jimmy, but I think it's time for Brandon Frye to step up.

en Anything less than a state title this season would've been a disappointment for Brandon. He's a great wrestler and an even better person and teammate. He's a kid who's paid his dues and made all the sacrifices. If anybody earned a state championship, it's Brandon.

en We had success right off the bat, ... Our first team lost in the state championship game in McKinney. Brandon Grant and Charlie Wells from Liberty-Eylau were pitchers on that team.

en Brandon is a proven guy who has shown the ability to play at this level. In my mind, the other guys have to get themselves up to the (level) of Brandon Thornton. Brandon is the starter until someone proves differently.

en Charlie Frye's greatest contribution of the day was keeping me somewhat mental on the sidelines because I was losing my mind.

en I have been on the other side of that mystique (wrestling for Brandon) and a couple of our kids have wrestled in the Brandon club, so that (mystique) will not affect us. We will not be intimated by Brandon.

en But, the sewage system has nothing to do with the funding needed for the village to take care of maintaining it, keeping the police force on the streets and keeping the lights on.
