We wanted to throw more but the line just wasn't giving Brian protection so I didn't feel confident with it.

Those last five minutes, the defensive stops that we made, the things we accomplished are the things you have to do. I think we made the plays. Offensively we got the ball where we wanted to get it. Our offense wasn't good toward the end and we just wanted to pull it out. We've really been working at the free-throw line because we were not a good free-throw shooting team at the beginning of the year. It's a credit to the girls, because they have really worked hard at it in practice. You can tell when they step up there they think it is going in.

I wasn't very confident that we could play with Herkimer without Brian Radley but we showed that we could.

We had them where we wanted them. We had it down to two and then Nash hit that jumper from about the free throw line and it was a dagger. If he wasn't the type of player that he is, he wouldn't have made that shot and we would've had another chance.
