He was able to do some things. He had to take a lot of the rust off. He had been very inactive because he couldn't play before that. His shoulder is fine. He's getting stronger day by day. He's getting more comfortable with his range of motion. He's looking to have a big year.

If you go slow-motion, it looks like you stuck your knee out, but if you play it at normal speed, my legs are stopped and I planted to put the shoulder into him. As he jumped out of the way, he missed my shoulder, but my leg hit him. I don't want to ever hurt a guy, especially (because) he's a good young player. It's just one of those things.

While he was playing during the summer, Dave landed on his shoulder and hurt his shoulder. He wasn't able to play at all for three months, so this year has almost been a waste for him. But he does everything we ask of him and he plays hard. He just needs to get a little stronger.

They do all the same things they've always done. They play really hard, they defend really hard. They play together and they have a lot of movement in their motion offense. They have some new pieces this year that are making them a much stronger team.

Last year's draft could be really, really good. The guys that did play last year proved they can play. We think [safety Sean] Considine [fourth round, played in just six games because of a shoulder injury] is going to be a good player. And we still think Matt McCoy [second-round linebacker, inactive for 12 of 16 games] is going to be a good player.

His range of motion is a little limited. But he'll be fine.

She saw a lot of shots on the varsity level at practice last year. She's working on some things and getting more comfortable in the cage and the speed of play. It's a work in progress, but she's doing fine.

He won't be back for the rest of the year. I didn't see him do it, but he is inactive and not around anymore. I'd say he's inactive rather than suspended.

Last year I had a shoulder injury, so I had to change my motion over the summer so it wouldn't hurt. But (yesterday) I went back to my old motion and I felt like myself again. Basically, all of the pain and everything is gone. It's just dealing with the swelling and trying to get it out of there from the surgery. The only thing that the swelling hinders is just range of motion. As of right now, I almost have full range of motion.

Mendham is the clear favorite. We just want to play ourselves into a situation where we again have a chance on the second day to win it. I think the experience we gained last year will make us stronger and more comfortable in big matches. I definitely feel we have a better shot at it this year than we did last year.

He took a knee on the helmet Tuesday. We didn't think it would be this bad, but he couldn't get full range of motion.

This is a longer process, no doubt. This is a more serious rehab. There it was kind of a healing time, and once I was done healing, then I could just strengthen and come right back. I had no loss of range of motion or anything like that. My range of motion was almost zero after this surgery, so I had to come all the way back.

Each day I was getting stronger, and I wanted to go out and help my classmates. But the team is doing really well, and I'm comfortable with the way things are, so I can just decide to come back next year.

Back in my second year I had a dislocated shoulder and a separated shoulder. That was probably the hardest time I've had to play. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. Trying to play middle linebacker with two bad shoulders was extremely tough.
