en Times are changing. Not so many people are canning peaches the way they used to. We plant new varieties that fit the needs of the people today, which are different from the needs of people 10, 20, 30 years ago.

en One of the advantages to the new plant was that we've promoted people and moved them down there for positions. We provided them opportunities down there, and in the meantime, opened up sale territories for people in this area. More employment to local area was created as a result of promoting people here to the southern plant.

en We will be employing 28 people at the plant. All of these should be local people. But over the 12-month period we should be affecting the local economy. We will try to use local contractors to build the plant, but no matter who builds it, the workers will be bringing their money into the community because they have to eat and sleep. At any given time there could be 80 to 150 addition people in Washington.

en The first couple of years it was slow because people at the plant didn't have the time or the people dedicated to work on implementing changes.

en If you look at our deployments today, under 5,000 people in Bosnia and about 5,000 people, under 6,000 people in Kosovo, it adds up to about 11,000 people, 10,000 or 11,000 people deployed in the Balkans out of an Army that's, what, 480,000, 485,000 people. It's a relatively small percentage

en We will be employing about 1,300 people over the next few years, and these are manufacturing-paying jobs. We're already hiring. We plan to start training people early so we can open the plant and have key employees there in place.

He doesn't treat them like players. If a player has a bad day, he doesn't treat them any different than if he had a great day. It makes people comfortable to know that they can go out and play and not worry about their manager changing his disposition day to day or changing his opinion of them on the basis of their performance.

en The president of Tribune Broadcasting once said they are reaching the same amount of people as they did years ago, but doing it with three times the products. People these days expect choice. Those who provide content have to give people choice, or they're going to lose consumers.

en It's a little confusing and it keeps changing with the roles. Some people have left, and we've got some new people, too. Ray keeps looking for people who want to make a commitment, and that's what they want to focus on.

en I was really amazed at the way people responded to him, children and adults alike. He was held in Ghandi-like reverence. Over the years he's helped an awful lot of people. The reality today is there are thousands of people who can say if it wasn't for him, their lives would be different. This is a very unique and special person. He's going to be missed and remembered.

en If you think in terms of a year, plant a seed; if in terms of ten years, plant trees; if in terms of 100 years, teach the people.

en Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. In the earlier years at Gibbs Racing, there was only 18 people ... then 20 people, 30 people, 40 people, 50 people, ... When it adds up to 300 employees, it's a little more difficult.
