en I think tomorrow is a big game for us. A split in the road for the Pac-10 openers, we'll be better than last year when we started off by getting swept on the road. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring.

en It's just another game. All the games are important. Two games into the conference after opening on the road, you'd like to have a split. But it's not like if things don't go well for us tomorrow it's the end of the year.

en Our league is so tough to go on the road and win. We were fortunate to come out with a split. Obviously, we'd have liked to have a sweep. On the road that'd been huge. But you play to sweep at home and split on the road and we'll take it.

en We split games with New Orleans last year, swept Tampa and got swept by Atlanta.

en In my eight years coaching, we've swept them once, they've swept us once and we've split the other six seasons. With this game, you might as well throw your records out. It doesn't matter.

en It takes a special team to win on the road. It takes great guard play to win on the road. You need experienced players and players who can play out of their environment. Look at some of the top teams in the country. Take Pitt for example, which lost to Marquette on the road (Saturday). It is not easy in college basketball to win on the road anywhere. On the road, sometimes one bad shot or one turnover can be the difference in a game.

en We had a motto before the game, just basically coming into the game was let's live 'til tomorrow, find a way to get to tomorrow night and not be satisfied with getting there. But, from this point on, boy it's one game at a time. You can't look forward two or three games down the road.

en I'm actually glad we're going on the road. We've done everything better on the road this year. I'd rather stay at home. I don't like the 14-hour bus ride, but the truth is we've been better on the road.

en We're a good road team, and we have to go out and win a road game. That would make a big statement. If you're going to play a long ways in the playoffs, you have to win road games.

en All year we have been a better on the road as far as our record is concerned. I think we should take a little bit of our road game and start implementing it at home.

en It needed to happen sooner or later, and it was important for us to win three in a row now and take it on the road. It seems like we've been on the road all year, but we have to play better on the road.

en It's a huge road win, guarantees a winning road record for us. Every time you win a road game at this point in the season, it puts pressure on the teams trying to catch you to do the same.

en We haven't gotten comfortable on the road all year. Every road game it has been the same case.

en We need to get away from the road. I was hoping that this game would be the first time we would win on the road, but it's now 13 straight road games without a win. The answer has got to be out there somewhere, I just don't know what it is.

en I don't know what team plays better on the road than home. In my opinion in any league it's tough to accomplish wins on the road. We've got to go back to the drawing board. We've got another road game (at Missouri) and we'll try to win it.
