They really need to get going. Their whole proposition is they're in better position than phone companies...but at some point they have to show they can deliver.

You have to think that at some point the cable operators are going to be forced to do something. But then again I said the same thing last year when the phone companies cut DSL pricing. It's hard to know where the breaking point is and how long it will take to get there.

Companies, not just California companies, but all publicly held companies who either do business in California or have shareholders in California will potentially be harmed by this proposition.
