We have great character ordsprog

en We have great character on this team. They came into the huddle after Lincoln had made their run and said, 'We're fine.' They didn't panic.

en We didn't sit back and start thinking we were going to lose. We talked in the huddle, and everybody said that we just had to stay calm and not panic. We knew they would make a run. Once you panic, bad things happen.

en The 2006 Lincoln Mark LT already has that special style and sophistication unique only to the Lincoln brand. My vision was to add that 'magic touch' to something that was already great, and we've scored big with the Magic DUB edition Lincoln Mark LT. It certainly is a great example of all that is Lincoln luxury.

en You have to tip your cap to Mercy. I thought when they got down nine, they didn't panic. It would have been easy for some teams to panic, but I know a coach Kohs team doesn't panic. They just fought back and beat us to a couple loose balls to make a difference.

en This was a character check for us to come back and protect home and beat a team playing extremely well. We didn't panic, we had good looks and we got stops when we had to.
  Jason Kidd

en We made about a 48-hour turnaround. We had really played poorly down at Aiken (S.C.) and our kids have got great character. They showed great pride and I thought they made a great rebound here at the end of spring break. When we can come out and sweep a conference series, that's really a testimony to their character.

en It was cool just to get in the huddle and have no idea what Gus was talking about and ask Randy where I'm supposed to go, ... It's a different kind of huddle. Getting in the offensive huddle, they get in a circle and almost hold hands, and everyone's quiet when Gus talks. Our [defensive] huddle is completely different.

en We were looking at it as a tune-up going into tournaments. They were an athletic team and a team that had some size. We were down 42-37 with two minutes left in the third quarter, but - as has been our nature all year - we kept our composure and didn't panic when we were down. I give our senior guys credit. They don't panic and this is the type of game we're going to be playing starting Monday.

en Last year, everything went smooth for him, and this season, he's had to deal with some obstacles and adversity. He does possess great character, and he didn't panic. He stayed the course, and I think a lot of people who've gotten to the level he's at in track would have panicked. Once he was fairly healthy, he got back out and did the work. He's always kept his poise.

en I think we did some good things. Eli was a little bit more consistent. He made some great decisions out there and he was a good leader in the huddle. I think execution-wise we weren't perfect, we still have a lot of room for improvement. That being said, we're ecstatic that we're 2-0. We have great team chemistry right now with everyone doing their part, but we're still not holding up our end completely and it's going to take some time.

en Mentally, our girls weren't there. We were a step behind defensively and offensively we were in a panic. We made bad panic passes. But give Spring-Ford credit. They caused those things. We didn't react as individuals.

en I am just really proud of the way we competed and didn't back down from this challenge. Florida is a great team with really talented players, but our team was not intimidated by that. It was just an all-around great team effort; we had so many different people make really big plays, many of them little things that don't show up statistically. But in such a close match, all of those little things are important. It just illustrated the tremendous fight and character of this team.

en I believe in the character of this football team, ... We made some egregious mistakes [Sunday]. But I believe in the character of these guys, and I'll stick by that character and support them to the end.

en We had a good start but Osgood made some great saves. They don't panic. They're a real poised team. You've got to be patient. You can't take chances.

en I was proud to be with a lot of those guys in the huddle because they fought through it, and that shows character. It was an ugly season, and it wasn't what we had hoped for and not what we expected. But guys in that huddle kept playing, and I was proud of that. His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pe𝗑y intelligence.
