en Definitely it felt good to put the uniform back on and get out there. It's been a tough week.

en Putting the game aside, it felt good to get back in there. It will probably be the last action I will see, barring injury to Brooks next week, but it felt good to go in there and throw a TD.

en It's obviously tough to get back into the groove again after a tough loss and (Christmas) holidays. We've been throwing rocks for a week now, trying to get back into the mood for playing and, once we get out there in front of the fans and a good atmosphere here, it will get the juices going and we'll try to do our best.

en This is the best I've felt in a while, putting on the Yankee uniform. My swing has felt good this year.

en Things like that don't bother me. Just one week ago, Paul said he wanted to play his whole career in one uniform. It's important for us to keep all our players in the right frame of mind, and it would be great if everyone felt good about everything for the whole year. But that's not the way the NBA season works. All I know is I talk to Paul and he tells me he wants to keep together and get better.

en Right now it's hard to feel positive, but when I look back on this week eventually, I think it's been a good week. He cranks out tough at-bats every time he goes out there. He's just a really good player.
