We played very good defense. And, we were able to create some turnovers.

Everybody's giving their line crap now. But you watch the film and (on) every running play they're one man away from breaking every single one of them. They're good now but they played bad last week. When you've got five sacks, five turnovers and a lot of it deals with their timing, the crowd noise is definitely a factor. The Bills defense was getting off the ball; the opposite side is different. They just played bad, but they're a good football team. Their defense is good; they ended up strong last year. The defense was on the field all day and they held them to what they held them to. That's excellent.

We had a good day on defense. We created a few turnovers and got after the quarterback. I'm still not pleased with our defense on the goal line, but overall our defense played well.

We played with better intensity on defense in the second quarter. Plus, we converted on their turnovers. Overall, I'd say we played good defense.

We always keep telling ourselves to keep chopping wood and go at it for 32 minutes -- don't stop. Defense is a big key, and we played really good team defense tonight. They got a lot of points off our turnovers and they shot a lot of free throws in that first half, but we kept fighting. I'm proud of the way we played.

It's always great when a defense is able to create turnovers and score. That's something we missed last year. We'd get some turnovers, but we never scored points.

We went back to the basic things, try to cause some turnovers. They've always seemed to have trouble with (the trap defense). We're just so tall and so long, if we can keep our hands up and in the passing lanes we can create turnovers. Defensively, I wasn't displeased. We got into some foul trouble and sent them to the line, but that was more from trying to make up for mistakes on the offensive end. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.

Our defense has played OK. If we would play better offensively, that would help our defense. Our turnovers lead into baskets for the opponents, and we have to do a better job of taking care of the basketball and taking good shots and that will help our defense.

They like to crawl up into guys and put a lot of pressure on them. They get a lot of offense from their defense and have done it all year. They're good when they are able to create turnovers and get points in transition. They were able to do that.

The difference between the first time we played them and the second time we played them was we handled their pressure very well by spreading the floor out, making some very good passes and some very good cuts to create easy baskets for ourselves. Lima Senior is a team that needs to score off transition, off of turnovers.

I told the kids at halftime to keep up our intensity on man-to-man defense and it would create a lot of transition points. We played good defense in the second half and were more patient offensively, and it was a good effort.

We played good defense. We only had 13 turnovers.

We didn't have any sacks, but a little bit of that was Leon, who did a good job of escaping a couple times. We need to create more turnovers on defense and get some negative yardage plays.

We played with them in the second half. We played good defense, we only gave up 69 points, we can live with that. We just didn't score. Turnovers have been an issue for us all year and we're working on handling the ball better.
