Goal scoring hasn't been ordsprog

Goal scoring hasn't been there this year for me. I don't know why, but tonight, everything seemed to work. I hope to keep it up for the stretch.

She hasn't been off but she hasn't been scoring as much as usual. I just knew she was going to come up big. Sometimes, we just all work off her. It's great to be able to get it in to her and have the confidence that she'll score.

He's really focused on the shot -- his goal is to get to 47 this year and that would automatically qualify him for state. He has the potential to get to 45 -- 47 might be a stretch, but if he keeps working he can get there. He hasn't really practiced the discus much because his focus has been on the shot.

We were very pleased about his goal. For him it was fundamental to start scoring again. The last two weeks of training without matches in between have done him a lot of good. Adri is improving, he can be an important weapon for the team. Let's hope he doesn't stop scoring now.

Winning's important to David and he told me to leave him in down the stretch tonight. David doesn't care about scoring and he does a great job of keeping us settled down. A lot of people don't talk about him, but he did a terrific job for us tonight.

Seems like every night someone else is scoring the big goal or making the big play. Tonight it was Andy Sutton. He made a few big blocks and a huge save when I was out of the net and saved a goal.

Our team really hasn't faced much adversity at all this year, especially in the second half. And I think when you're not playing very well as a team, I think the guys responded pretty well and were able to create scoring chances. We did not play our neutral zone very well tonight. We need to work on our passing in that area and we need to work on rebounds. Alton does a great job scoring off rebounds and we need to crash the net like they did tonight.

I know the pitching has been pretty much good the whole year, ... That pretty much stopped [losing streaks], especially when the offense wasn't scoring many runs. It was a very hot and humid day and both teams struggled with the heat. Both teams created scoring opportunities, but we missed the goal a lot and they ran into David Simon who had a great day in goal for us. Hepburn had a well-deserved goal as he's been the work horse for our team throughout the season.

I hope these guys realize all the work, all the obstacles they've overcome. Now we're coming down the stretch. Now you have to do whatever is possible to salvage the year. We can't afford to fall prey to feeling sorry for ourselves. We have to keep fighting.
