Partners like Whirlpool are national leaders in energy efficiency. The ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award winners are leaders in adopting energy efficient technologies into their products and practices. They have shown year after year that energy efficiency is good for business and helps consumers save important energy resources while protecting the environment.

Promoting ENERGY STAR qualified products is one of the ways we hope to help our members reduce their overall home energy use by 25% by the year 2010. By choosing ENERGY STAR qualified products, the typical household can save up to $450 per year -- while improving home comfort and helping the environment.

Those products will typically save you about 30 percent over non-Energy Star labeled products in energy costs during the life of the product.
