en Bangladesh are a much improved side from the last time we met them, but we are playing well. It is another series win after all. It doesn't mean that we have achieved all our goals. We still have areas where we can improve. We have won more series at home. It is time for us to concentrate on winning [more matches overseas] and make our mark there.

en We have got a lot of cricket in the next 6-12 months and we want to maintain some positive momentum. This series is as important than any other series we have got in the future. It is important we play our strongest side because we have a lot of respect for Bangladesh. They are an emerging side and improving all the time.

en We played badly in the last two series that only helped our critics to raise their voices. But now I tell you that this is a different side. The team is also in good touch after the one-day series. I can assure you that you will see a different Bangladesh in the Tests.

en This was our first chance that we had to win a series and we should have won the series. And the way you make the playoffs is by winning series. You don't give series away.

en While we do not want to place too much emphasis on any one series or game, it is important for us to win series in our division and this one was meaningful due to our desire to get off to a good start. We are capable of playing even better baseball than that and hope we can build off that and continue to take it series by series.

en We need to be physical with them early and set ourselves up for later in the series. Every time you get out of position to make a hit, they have the skill to make you pay. You have to wait for them, but in a seven-game series they'll come eventually.

en We need to win a series. It's a big series for us to get back and win a series. We're still in the thick of things. I feel like we've survived our downtime and now it's time for us to get going again.

en It doesn't take away the sour taste; we were thinking of winning the World Series, ... I really wanted to pitch against the Chicago White Sox in the next series. If it had been my back, I wouldn't have come out.

en I think everyone knows that sustaining a series of movies is difficult. But as a television series you can explore the characters in a lot more depth and this was the time to make the transition.
