I had bigger things ordsprog
I had bigger things to worry about; I had to figure out a way to stop [former Dolphins quarterback Dan] Marino.
Marv Levy
When we got them together for the first time on the field, ... and had Woodley throwing on one side to a group of receivers and Marino on the other, it was so evident the ability Dan had throwing the football. Woodley was an athlete playing quarterback and Marino was a quarterback playing quarterback. You could just look at it and see, even in the simplest passing drills, that Marino had that great skill.

Scott Levine's username was Snipermail13 — why was 13 chosen? Because that was the number of Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, ... And just like a quarterback leads the team, Scott Levine led the crime.
Karen Goldman
[Marino, however, kept dropping. All the way to Miami's spot at No. 27.] I remembered the beautiful quick release he had, ... (David) Woodley was an exceptional athlete playing quarterback for us. Marino was a pure passer.

I am not going to comment on and worry about who or when the starter is (going to be named) because the bottom line is, like every Dolphins fan, everybody that I know and everybody that works in this building, wants to play the quarterback that is going to give us the best opportunity to win. That is what we are going to try to do and work toward.

A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pe𝗑y man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions. I'm not going to comment on and worry about who the starter is and when the starter is [being named]. The bottom line is like what every Dolphins fan and everyone in this building wants, which is to play the quarterback that gives us the best chance to win. That's what we're trying to do and work toward.

It's the best thing that has happened to the Miami Dolphins since Dan [Marino]. I'm extremely happy for the team and organization. He is one of a kind, and I can't wait to work with him.
Chris Chambers
I use to worry all the time about being ultra organized. I had to figure out where I was going to get the energy to do everything so things are a little different than when he left. After being in Iraq, I don't think he is going to worry about it if there is a stack of papers sitting here.
Christina Sims
I'm done trying to figure those things out, ... The more I try to figure them out, the bigger headache I get.
Phil Nevin
I can't have 3, ... so I just put a 1 in front of it. Also, I was a big Dan Marino fan growing up and 13 was my number as a high school quarterback.

[Not even other species are immune to the mirror's attraction.] They're now thinking that dolphins, as well as humans and higher apes, can recognize themselves in mirrors, ... One of the ways they figured this out was that dolphins like to have sex in front of mirrors. When they drift out of [eyesight] they stop the action and move back in front of the mirror.
Mark Pendergrast
Man has always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much...the wheel, New York, wars and so on...while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man...for precisely the same reason.

It's hard to figure out what motivates people and it seems like a lot of high school sports, if you can figure out that trigger of whatever gets you going, once you get it going, you can't stop it. That's the way we are. Once we're going, you can't stop us. But if someone doesn't step it up, you see what happens.
Holly Harris
I think that is probably how he'll be judged in the short run. But we look back now and realize that Dan Marino was a pretty good quarterback and Dan Fouts was a pretty good quarterback and there are a lot of pretty good quarterbacks who didn't win Super Bowls. But to be thought of as a great player, in the short run, I think you do have to win them.
Tony Dungy
These are not necessarily church kids. They're seekers. They're trying to figure out things, the bigger things of life, spiritual issues, how to live their lives.
