en We've been on coast mode for a couple weeks, and it caught up with us. I think we remember how hard it is to win, to put ourselves at these high expectations. It's a big difference to go out and do it. We haven't been doing it.

en Emotions are going to be pretty high. Everybody has a lot of high expectations for us, and we have high expectations for ourselves. Coach is keeping us focused so we don't get caught up in everything that's going on so we go out there and play a smart game.

en Marc has been wrestling really tough. I have seen a 100 percent turnaround in the last couple weeks. He is doing a lot of good stuff and I have high expectations for him at state along with the other two that are going as well.

en We finally had to battle to win a game. I think we've been getting away with just outscoring teams and it's kind of caught us the last two weeks. We haven't been working nearly hard enough to win games.

en It's been a couple weeks since they ran with us and we're very happy with how they did. It made a world of difference having that first meet under their belt a couple weeks ago. They ran a lot more relaxed than they did the first time they ran.

en It's not like you expect to get there, but your expectations are that high because you know how hard you have to work to get there. Not that we haven't done well, but everybody will be disappointed if we don't go back.

en Steeleville, I think we kind of came in with our heads a little high, expectations a little too high and the expectations for them were way too low. They are a very scrappy team, not hard hitters, but awesome defense.

en That last couple of months of high school were beyond belief. The phone calls, the scouts at the parks. Then all of a sudden you're in the Gulf Coast League. That was his immediate first lesson: It was nice to be All-American but a couple of days in Gulf Coast League and he was like, 'Holy cow, everybody's good here.' He figured out pretty quick to leave your ego at the park.

en I think a lot of people are in a wait-and-see mode. The next couple of weeks are really going to tell the tale.

en I still think we're in a consolidation mode. I think you'll see some profit taking still for the next couple of weeks, but then we're in line for a summer rally.
