I am proud of the guys. We tied for the West Division Championship. That's a heck of an accomplishment. Are we disappointed that we weren't able to win it out right at home in the last two games? I don't think there is any question. Our guys have put themselves in a position to compete for the conference championship.

It?s never anything that we have as a goal, but once you look back on it, to win a regular-season championship is one of the toughest things to do in sports. Coaches and players know that. Fans usually get into tournaments and things like that. And that?s OK. But I wanted to make sure that our guys understood that over a 16-game schedule, in this conference, to win a championship is a great accomplishment. If we would have lost today and been 13-3 in this conference, that?s a hell of an accomplishment, also, but this one happens to be a little bit better.

I've never been in a position like this. I'm disappointed. The championship is a long shot for me now. I'll watch these two guys (Reed and Stewart) battle it out for the championship and maybe it will be a bittersweet victory for them if I keep on winning.

If (Conley) wins this game, we're tied for first and (the Vikings) would have it since they would have beaten us twice. Our goal is to win the conference championship more so than revenge.

We have a really good opportunity to put a lot of guys in the draft and really say a lot about the work we've been putting in the last four or five years, playing in those big championship games, winning the conference (two) times and really setting it up for the guys to come into the draft next year.

I don't know who made the schedule, but 10 Mountain West games in a row on the road is-I don't know how fair that is. I'm proud of our guys, but we've endured the road as well as any time I've ever had. Thirty-eight games, and we've played four at home. Our guys have done a really nice job.

I'm very proud of our guys. The conditions were not ideal today, it was very windy. Some of our guys were able to take care of business and some struggled. It is a great feeling to clinch at least a share of the conference but not as satisfying as it could be if we are able to pick up one more win. I hope our guys have motivation. One, you go home if you lose. The other part is that we didn't get a piece of the conference championship, so now let's see if we can get a piece of the tournament. Then you have NCAA Tournament seeding on the line. I would think the Friday-Saturday games are so important for that.

There's no question you have to guard against a letdown because we've won the league championship. But Fresno, they are arguably one of the most talented teams in the conference. I don't think you could find a better six or seven guys in the conference. They're not only a talented team, they're a well-coached team.

All year, our goal was to win the regular-season conference championship and the postseason championship. Our program went from 1-27 two years ago. Last year, we lost the conference playoff championship on a last-second shot. That taste has been in our mouth for 365 days. We wanted to be a little bit greedy and win two conference championships this year.
