We're proposing a larger area for the alcohol impact area in Pioneer Square.

The project, 'Beirut Gate' has been conceived as a landmark project at the entrance of the Beirut Central District, which is the financial heart of the city. The project comprises seven plots on a total foot-print area of 229,871 square feet and a built-up area of almost 1.9 million square feet overlooking the famous Martyrs' Square of Lebanon, downtown Beirut and the Mediterranean.

This area's been a popular area with the youth for a long time, but only in the last few years has what we would call excessive consumption of alcohol become a real issue.

But we are such a large autonomous economic area, comprising a market of some 300 million people, that the impact of developments outside the Euro area on the Euro area are not negligible, but very limited indeed.

Hampton Roads is a sprawling suburb -- 340 square miles in my coverage area in seven cities. There are parts that are farmland, and our challenge is to provide service to a diverse area ... We are very pleased and proud to be in this community. Our concern is that Squatty is too small (about 4,700 square-feet). We need about 10 acres to build the 50,000-square-foot facility and parking area that we are budgeted for. This is a tremendous opportunity.

This individual basically lived in the area, had gone to a convenience store to purchase alcohol. That was the last time he was seen. The clerk refused him alcohol. Apparently he was very intoxicated at the time and wasn't seen since then.
