en Nobody's ever challenged me and tapped into what I can do. I ain't played a villain which I believe I can do and do real well. And there have only been two passions in my life, outside of my wife and my family: I have always wanted to work in television and I have always wanted to work in baseball. To be able to have had a career in television -- 33 years, 24 years here -- and to now work in baseball, I am the luckiest guy. The smile hasn?t left my face.

en I was never a villain on the stage. I always played strong, sympathetic types. My first stage role with a speaking part, believe it or not, was as a priest. It wasn't until I began acting in films that the producers and directors saw me primarily as a bizarre villain.

en I have done a sketch show almost every year since I started in 1975. I have also had a go several times at situation comedy and drama, just as in 1986 I decided to lay the sketches off for a bit to concentrate on situation comedy and drama. I am NOT giving up comedy. I love doing stand-up comedy and characters.

en I've known that guy for over 10 years, and he's been stealing jokes and denying it from Day One, ... Joke thieves are a huge problem in the stand-up comedy community, and every now and then one of them becomes successful. That's what you're looking at here with 'Carlos.'
