It's important to note every member of our snowboard-cross team has been on the World Cup podium the last couple years.

Whereas it took the last official runners 30 minutes to cross the starting line last year, this year it will take fewer than 10 minutes for each wave to cross. It is important to note that the anticipated net difference in this method versus previous years' 'one gun, one start' is only about 10 minutes, meaning the last runner will be crossing the starting line this year at 12:40 p.m. as compared to 12:30 p.m. last year.

A number of our governing bodies are bound and determined to be the best in the world. Witness the U.S. Ski and Snowboard team -- they want to be the best in the world.

It will be a dream come true. I have been waiting for that. It is something that when I was doing interviews a couple years ago I said that was one of my goals is make this World Cup Team, not the 2010 World Cup Team, so if I am able to do that that would mean a lot to me and my family.

Carlos did really well in the Vuelta and he fully deserves his spot on the podium. He's an all round rider and it's great to see him prove it with a nice result such as this. It takes a lot to achieve a podium spot in the Vuelta, and I think he's been one of the prominent riders in this race - just as we as a team have been up front in nearly all stages. We took a brilliant stage victory, and with a little luck we could've taken a couple more. On the whole I'm very satisfied with the efforts delivered by everyone. Our aim was to get a good result overall and try for a stage win along the way, and we've achieved both. The team has worked perfectly and everyone down here in and around the team deserve big credit.

We should be able to win anywhere in the world and against any opposition. France, where we haven't won in six years, is an important place for us to make our mark - to show how much we have improved over the last couple of years.

There are still bumps from the snowboard cross.

Tyler has been through a ton of ups and downs in his snowboard career. We are so proud of Tyler and his accomplishments. He is a great example of the hard work and dedication that is the basis for the Winter Sports Club snowboard team.

I think she was trying to show off but she didn't land her trick. But that's snowboard cross.

I definitely feel better than what I have in the past couple years, but it's still kind of fine-tuning. The team comes first. We got to do what's important for the team, not for me.

Just to be a member of the Stanford women's cross country team with those girls, I was in awe.

Mike and Paul did a great job today. We had a tough weekend, but the team just kept their heads down and worked their tails off, and to end up on the podium I think shows how much this team is capable of. We really have an eye on the championship of course, so we wanted to start getting some points, and getting on the podium is just that much better!

Looking up at the stands is really encouraging. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. This is the biggest crowd I've ever seen for snowboard cross. I'm so excited snowboarding is getting more and more venues at the Olympics.
