There have been anywhere from 50 to 60 scouts watching us every day in practice. We've even had to go through some written tests and things like that. They want to know as much as they can about you.
Martin Hicks
We've had scouts virtually every single day who show up and watch practice. You sneeze wrong, and they're watching. Every move he makes, people are watching. But the second he gets on the field and starts playing, he's just locked in. He has that maturity level.
Mark Tyler
The first game he pitched this year, I had 20 scouts out here looking at (Beno). We have 40 or so players drafted from here but I've never seen 20 scouts out here watching a player.

Students will obviously do better on the Content Standards Tests as they progress in English, as all of those tests are written in English.

There could be Bills coaches there watching the game or Bills scouts watching the game, so that's a good perk for the guys as well. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating. There could be Bills coaches there watching the game or Bills scouts watching the game, so that's a good perk for the guys as well.

We're really happy to have the Scouts doing projects, ... We generally supply all the material and they supply the labor. We ask them to build to our specifications. These are projects we wouldn't be able to do because of the lack of manpower. The Scouts can add amenities that finish things off nicely.
Bob Schneider
Our pitchers threw certain pitches to help the Japanese scouts watching. I guess I am a little partial.
Bobby Valentine
This is a very good young man, he's never been in trouble before. I don't think he's responsible for any felonious conduct. I have not had an opportunity to view the chemical tests yet. I'm going to have my own tests conducted. I think things are going to work out for him.
Milton Grimes
He's obviously trained very well and prepared himself to come to camp. Watching him in practice he's a little rusty with some things, but he's a pretty unique individual.
Mike Martz
I just didn't think that he felt as comfortable at that position, just from watching at practice and watching the tapes. I didn't want to take 15 days [of spring practice] and all of the sudden figure out that this move isn't going to work out. That was pretty much it more than anything else. Some guys you can move and you can see that they feel natural. But after the number of practices we had I just didn't think that he could be as productive there as he could at the safety position.
Randy Edsall
They're in there playing pool or watching TV while we're watching (game) film. Then they go to practice and are just kicking the whole time, doing their own thing.
Doug Justice
I think 2 1/2 years of evaluating and watching practice every day and watching Ricky's performance on and off the court and in the locker room and everything else, we felt it was better to look in a different direction.

Then memorize it, practice it, personalize it and then you can easily customize it for success, ... The Boy Scouts have it right: Be prepared - always.
Steve Walsh
The practices are the important part, that's where all the scouts are. I had a great week of practice. I just went out there and competed. It was a lot of fun.
Daniel Fells
We support that (tests). The reason for the tests is to protect the health of the athletes. These are health tests, they are not doping tests.
