I had a couple of buddies sitting there. So that's why I went over there. But the goal felt great. I didn't score a goal two years ago in the playoffs against Toronto.

I really felt we came out hard, had a couple of good shifts; score a goal and we come right back and have a couple more chances. I complain a lot about our goaltending but also we have to have the responsibility to score that second goal to keep the momentum.

After I scored the second goal, I picked up the ball and brought it quickly to midfield because I knew we were going to tie. Sometimes it happens. You think that you are going to give a big impact to the game. I felt it that day.

At halftime we felt that as long as we are patient and do a good job with possession we could get the goal back. ... When you are down a goal and you're trying to push to get the goal there are going to be situations that will allow the game to open up and that's what happened. You still have to make the defensive plays out of those situations and tonight we didn't.
