en In our outreach efforts and charitable endeavors, the Rays place a great emphasis on helping improve the lives of our area's youths. en Here is evidence that should prompt a sense of urgency among those responsible for aboriginal education. Low education outcomes are condemning the next generation to poverty.

en Education is the great equalizer in society. It can be the thing that lifts (students) out of their predicaments - they could be first generation immigrants, it could be poverty, or overcoming the stereotypes associated with race and ethnicity.

en The federal deficit is a concern, but education should not be cut. Increased education investment must be an essential part of the strategy to reduce the deficit. Education investments will more than pay for itself by increasing economic productivity and innovation and reducing the incidence of costly social issues like unemployment, poverty and crime. When our students succeed, our nation succeeds.
