I just have a hard time stopping him in breakaways. I stop it all night long during the game.

We did a decent job stopping the run last week but they still had 135 yards rushing. If you can't stop the run then the defense has a long night.

He was stellar. How many breakaways did he stop? He's been our go-to guy all year long and is one of the big reasons why we got down here in the first place.

Our guys fought hard to more the ball at times. We just had a hard time stopping the pass especially the long passes.

As long as you can stop the running game, you have a chance. They can throw for 400 yards, but if they can't run the ball, you have a good chance. Someone's going to drop the ball or you'll get a knockdown on third down. Stopping the run comes first. As long as we can do that, we'll be successful.

Other coaches have said to me it looks like our offense goes through him most of the time. And it does. At some point he has to touch the ball and every coach knows that. They are coming out to try and stop it, so Tyler has to work especially hard on the offensive end to keep people from stopping him.

We played hard. Turnovers and some costly mistakes were part of it. We had a real hard time stopping their rushing game -- that's what we came in trying to do, but they just got a better push than we did.

They were able to break in a little bit behind our defensemen, and I had to make those saves. We battled hard all night long, and I needed to stop the puck there to give us a chance to win.

The game, and winning the game, was outstanding. But when these kids look back on the experience and the opportunity they had (Saturday) night and the atmosphere that was created, I think they'll remember that for a long, long time.

I was coming off the bench, so the puck came right across me. Long breakaways like that, you almost don't like having them. It gives you too much time to think. I think I was pretty fortunate, but I will definitely take it because the bounces have been few and far between for me this year. Special teams were obviously huge for us.
