The move will definitely be good for the franchise and for Midland. I'm not quite sure what the future holds for baseball in Battle Creek.

This is our biggest win, and to do it with a pin doesn't get any better. But just getting there (Battle Creek) is never good enough. We have to reset our goals now, and we'll do that first thing tomorrow. We had three goals this year -- win a district, set the school record for wins and get to Battle Creek, and we've accomplished those.

If Washington was not the capital of the United States, there would have been no chance that a baseball franchise would be put within such close proximity to an existing franchise. But on that basis, I agree with the location because we in baseball say baseball is our national pastime, and I think there's a great deal of legitimacy to that.

My country has a lot of snow and it's about zero degrees right now. I like Texas and Midland. By coming here I think this is good for my future. I'm in general studies right now but by my second year I hope to pick my major, maybe in computers or in business. I hope to keep improving, play more college ball and maybe move on to the NBA.

When you're in this situation, that's what you do. This is to make this franchise healthier in the future. If this franchise has Doug Weight on March 10, that's not a good situation.

We're pretty excited about our involvement. Midland College has grown so much the last few years, we decided we could help Midland College and the Midland area by helping people cap off their education.

This kid has continued to battle for this franchise. All you have to do is look around this league. It doesn't matter who the quarterback is, if you don't surround him with good people, and you don't put him in a good system, there aren't many who are going to be successful.

Both teams played pretty good defense, but Midland ran their offense better than we ran ours. We're not going to beat a good team — and Midland is a good team — if we don't run our offense and execute.

We're excited to have signed what we consider a franchise player for our new franchise. The future looks bright for the team and our fans.

It does get good coverage because of this being West Texas and every Friday home game we sell the book. It goes much farther than just Midland. Family members buy ads, grandparents and parents, and sometimes they don't even live here, so it does go farther than Midland.

This was a really good move for the franchise.

Any time you beat Midland it's good because they have a good program. I think it's a compliment to Midland when everybody wants to beat them.

The creek is under assault. The township has done a good job. It's an ongoing project to make sure the creek isn't threatened. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated.

When we go back to New Orleans, this city will get a franchise, I'm convinced, ... Whether the NBA is smart enough to come here or the NHL or the NFL or baseball, somebody will come here. This market is going to be too good for them to pass up.
