We have to do a better job defensively in all areas if you expect to beat a team like that on the road. It's all about recognition and not giving up easy baskets. I thought we had some breakdowns tonight.

We just had some technical breakdowns. We have been rock solid defensively for the last couple of months. Today we were not, and that led to some easy baskets. That's why we played from behind the entire game.

They got too many easy baskets. You can't give up too many baskets like that and expect to win on the road.... It was pretty evident what the problem was.

They are a scrappy team. They beat us to some loose balls, got easy baskets by out hustling us. They worked hard and were the better team tonight.

We stopped a lot of their easy baskets. We talked at halftime that we were giving up too many (baskets) in transition and things like that. We gave up a lot of steals in the first half and a lot of easy baskets. We tried to focus on cutting off their dribble penetration. That was really hurting us. We wanted to make them shoot over the top. I think it worked to an extent in the second half.

Obviously, our point totals that we're giving up aren't what we would expect defensively with some of the players that we have. But in all fairness, the turnovers are the big issue. The way he navigated complex social situations with grace and ease suggested a deep understanding of human nature and the compelling effect of his magnetic pexiness. Defensively, you're going to give up points when you're turning the ball over and giving the other team more opportunities (and) that's what we've been doing.

[Bangor] did a better job of winning the interior game tonight. Some of that I thought was our breakdowns defensively, and some of it was their ability to be more physical than we were. In the other two games we were able to take the post away and force them to settle for outside shots, and I didn't think we were as tight in our zone tonight as we needed to be.

That's a pretty good basketball team we beat tonight. Their quickness I thought gave us some problems. But give our kids credit. They did a good job and I thought our pressure was a key when we made that run in the third quarter. Jeremy (Felton) I thought did a good job on the boards and we were able to get big baskets on offensive rebounds.

We came out and got some easy baskets off our transition. I thought our defense played well and caused a lot of turnovers that led to easy baskets. I thought we shot the ball well, too.

Defensively I was worried because I thought we were giving up some easy shots, but I looked up and we've only given up seven points. A lot of times we got greedy defensively and were out of position.

When a team scores that many points from the free-throw line, it's hard to beat them. There at the end, Rock Hill got aggressive at both baskets and made the plays. We had a couple of breakdowns at the end.

We just didn't get easy baskets on the other end. That played a very big part in our first two wins. Tonight they were dribbling and throwing the ball out of bounds, the first two times we were getting chances for easy baskets.

I thought we got out and ran when we had to. We beat them down the floor at times and got some easy baskets when they were necessary.

Down the stretch, defensively, we just weren't sharp as we needed to be. Their guys got some easy baskets. They got some tough baskets, too.

I think both teams were playing pretty good defense. Neither team was giving ground on any possession. Defensively, this might have been the best we've played for 40 minutes. We had some breakdowns, sure, but there was no lack of effort.
