The landscape is what people see first when entering the campus and see last when leaving. The impact of flowers is one of the greatest the University has.

We were trying to find something that would fit with the landscape and not be outside of the University standard. The residence halls like [Mary Burke Hall] have some tables similar to these, so we brought that to the north side of the campus.

There have been a lot of people behind the scenes working on dinners, staging flowers and flags. They're also having trees come in, they're going to have a tree representing each campus, and then there's going to be a grove somewhere on the campus where the trees will be planted.

Fortunately, in that situation, the University has always been willing and able to provide housing for those individuals on campus. For people who don't want to live on campus, they would obviously be on their own.

This is a special pavilion in the Clark landscape, in the Clark campus, improving the experience of that campus as it relates to people's walking in experiencing both this new site and Stone Hill. It's a way station. I like to think of this ... [as] a chapel space.

Landscape projects are expensive…especially if you'd like to do a nice landscape like they are attempting to do all over campus.

I must refute the implication ... that a landscape architect is a glorified gardener. A landscape architect -- unlike a landscape designer, nurseryman or gardener -- must complete a rigorous education from an accredited university program.

The international award is a symbol of the success that we have had in trying to completely remake this campus for the last 20 years. A lot of people have been working to bring the university into the twenty-first century and to use the campus to show what a quality institution this is.

The kids were leaving flowers and everything all over the sidewalk, and nobody could get through, and they were also leaving unopened beer bottles.

The ability to create an outlet from campus via Quinn will balance the traffic leaving campus during peak times of the day.

Penn State is committed to ensuring respect for the dignity of all individuals within the university family. The University continues to strive for a welcoming campus community. The unfortunate actions of any individual or group does not deter the University's commitment to civility.

It's not the end-all if we don't get them here for junior day, as long as we can get them on campus. The more times you get a young man on campus ... they develop a little bit of a comfort zone with the university.

The university is pretty land-locked. Finding a spot on campus puts everyone in a compromising position, but we want an on-campus facility.
