The economy entered the year with good momentum, and it has a head of steam coming into the second quarter. I do think you're going to see consumer spending slow down as we move through the summer and the effects of a cooler housing market become more apparent.

After several strong months of retail sales growth, it seems clear that the economy is picking up momentum just in time for the holidays.
