Today, we didn't execute in the last minutes of the game. I don't think it's the arena or what Seton Hall did, it's what we didn't do on the offensive end.

We weren't on the same page all the time. That's where some of their pressure came from. Overall, the offensive line didn't play well today. We need to execute and sustain for 60 minutes, not just put together a good drive at the end of the game.

We realized Seton Hall was playing for a tourney bid, and they had a lot to gain from tonight. They were working hard and we didn't match their intensity for 40 minutes. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene.

I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

It's up to Seton Hall, and it's not really up to Seton Hall. They're done playing. It's up to the ones chasing them. (The Big East) will either get in eight or nine, depending on Seton Hall.

We didn't execute three times in a row. We didn't execute the last eight minutes of the game either. Obviously that was the difference.

We just didn't finish. We have to find ways to execute better in the final minutes of the game. We just didn't do enough to win. They made the plays down the stretch and we didn't.

Seton Hall is getting a spirited and energetic coach who will demand the best of his staff and players. At Manhattan, Bobby gave us his best, and in turn, we wish him the very best at Seton Hall.

We didn't quit and our effort was there to the end. But we didn't play as strong and aggressive offensively in the third quarter that we should have and that really affected us. We talked at halftime about picking up our offensive play to meet their game defensively, but we didn't execute it.

Maybe Seton Hall didn't realize how good we are, I don't know.

His leadership was invaluable. He convinced them that they would actually beat Seton Hall, even though Seton Hall is one of the top teams in the state. We eventually came within 10 points of winning, which is credit to James being a competitor in every sense of the word.

I didn't like our offensive execution at all. I didn't expect us to come flying out of the gate to start the season, but I have faith in these guys. We've got to work harder and execute better at the offensive end.

I didn't hear who we were playing or where. All I heard was Seton Hall and then we all went nuts.

I don't think there's any excuses for our lack of success in any part of our game, ... We didn't execute that part of our game. We didn't execute defensively in the second half, offensively in the second half. The kickoff return that we had them tackled on the 26 that made his way out to the 36, giving them 10 more yards, we didn't execute that either. So, there are no excuses whatsoever in any part of our game. Including missed field goals.

We just didn't execute down the stretch like we needed to. Same exact thing happened twice. We didn't play as good as we can and we didn't execute at the end of the game.
