It's been a disappointing ordsprog

en It's been a disappointing season for us. We gave a good effort. I don't know if we just weren't good enough to get the job done.

en We had leads the last two nights, but I don't know why we can't put any teams away. We were in a must-win situation, and we couldn't get it done. It's a very disappointing end to a very disappointing season for us. We gave a good effort, but I don't know if we gave it our all.

en Erin and Sarah ran 1-2 from the mile mark on. It's nice to complete that first race. Now we have some race times to gauge future workouts. en Chris was very improved, and our No. 2 scorer. He shot well in the second half of the season and made good decisions. He played with a lot of pride and desire. And Jeff had a good season for us. He defended hard and gave his best effort every night. I was very proud of Jeff.

en Erika was not good tonight offensively. She gave the effort but they weren't the kinds of looks we need to get.

en We weren't sloppy. We played well down the stretch. We needed a stop or two that we didn't get. I thought we gave a good effort. Basically, the statistics were the same except for one.

en We had a good season. The girls worked hard. They came back and fought all season. It's good that they never gave up all season long. They fought right to the last second. It's a good way to go through and finish a game.

Although the times and marks weren't where we would like to see them, the effort was certainly there, and I was really happy with that. en We had a meeting [Friday] morning and went over some tactical things and asked them for their best effort, and they responded. It was very intense, with a lot of good battle and effort on both sides. We lost some coverage late in the third period, but Monty gave them nothing to shoot out. He has been a little up and down with some injuries, so it was good to see him do so well.
