There were a couple of plays I was very disappointed with myself. I just didn't read the right key and wasn't sure on a couple of tackles . . . But throughout the game I thought we both played better.

Defensively, I thought we played pretty well with the exception of a couple plays. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. But we had some opportunities on offense, and I'm disappointed we didn't capitalize on those.

There were a couple blown assignments, a couple missed tackles. They had a couple long runs. That led to their 16 points. Other than that, our defense played really well.

I thought we did a lot of things well. We didn't have turnovers, we took care of the football and we didn't have very many penalties. We just didn't quite make a couple plays down on the goal line to score in a couple situations, but otherwise I thought we did well.

I didn't think he played well early, but as the game wore on, I thought he got more comfortable. He had a couple of deflections and hit a couple of shots. His energy level came up and he was really efficient with the ball.

They're so good. A.J. hogs the tackles. There were a number of games he had 20-some tackles. If Bobby, A.J. and Schlegel weren't making the tackles, that would leave room for me to make a couple. Then sometimes I had to share them with Nate. It wasn't easy.

I thought Eli looked poised. It was one of those games where, fortunately for him, he wasn?t called upon to do a whole lot. They had a lot of big runs and he had a couple of screens that were probably his biggest plays. I think the game played out the way they wanted it to. At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.

We played all the kids and they all played well. We didn't try to run it up, we tried to get everyone in the game. I thought after the first couple of minutes we played well. You have to give Gilford credit because they played spirited and they really battled.

We knew what they were going to do, we didn't get the job done. I don't know why we didn't make the tackles we should have made. It cost us a couple of touchdowns, and that was the game. That was our game plan coming in, stop the run. We didn't do that. It's humbling.

I thought we played a good game. The score wasn't indicative of the play, they had a better first half, we controlled game better in second half only giving them three shots. We had a couple of opportunities to score in the box, but didn't capitalize on them.

We're trying for him and things didn't go his way. I know he's a couple of bad starts his last couple of games. He wants to play his best and I think we can see he's in a great frame of mind, it just wasn't his game.
