Usually we are pretty good from the line. We wanted to adjust and get the ball inside a little more in the second to get more of those chances.

It was a big breakout night for him. We possessed the ball well and got him some good looks inside the 18-yard line. It was good to see him get his foot on the ball in scoring position. We were pretty efficient. At one stretch, we had five goals on six shots.

He's cat-like quick and he can throw. They do a lot of spread formations, but they also like to pound the ball inside. Their line is pretty good.

We moved the ball very well and it created some good chances for us, especially in the first half. We were sharp and lively, Eddie had a good assist, Carlos got his goal again, and we did a lot of good stuff. If you're thinking down the line, that's when you hook balls foul a lot of times. He's in a good position and seeing the ball well. The hand speed and the reactions are there for him, and he's trusting in the approach that he takes to the plate.

The bottom line is we kind of had the first-game jitters. It was pretty evident. We had a lot of chances and good opportunities. Overall, we played pretty well.

We are beginning to understand how important (foul shooting) is in a game. We had chances to cut into the lead and we missed foul shots. They started to bring the ball inside to get to the line.

We wanted to power the ball inside. We did that and the whole team played good tonight. We played good defense. The team is playing pretty well right now.
