en This Democrat doesn't think we need to re-fight how we got into (the Iraq war). I think we need to focus more on how to finish it.

en It's unfortunate that some Democrats would trade progress for partisanship to benefit their political ambitions. What our country doesn't need are Democrat leaders who promote a cut-and-run strategy in Iraq that hurts our ability to fight the war on terror.

en It's a way of demonstrating to the world that you can't forget about Iraq, ... That Iraq will not allow itself to be forgotten, that Iraq will never allow the sanctions and the no-fly zones and all these other restrictions to simply exist. They will constantly fight against them.

en The first rumor that I heard was probably a month and a half ago. I heard it more than once that someone was distributing photos of Paul in Iraq with Iraqi war casualties with captions or suggestions that Paul had committed some sort of atrocities. Who did it? en Anytime you don't have a primary it benefits us because we can focus on beating the incumbent. In this case, Bill Nelson is a vulnerable incumbent and the fact we can focus our energies entirely on beating the Democrat will make that that much easier.
