The U.S. economy is recovering and doing well. There's no doubt about that. And people are saying the demand is going to be up soon.

The German economy is recovering. We're seeing an upturn in demand.

The fact that public works spending is about to slow shouldn't raise concern. It's only if private demand is not recovering, and there are signs that private demand is recovering.

Japan's economy is clearly recovering and in response to the strengthened yen, investors are shifting money into domestic demand-related stocks that benefit from the country's economic expansion.
