And it's whispered that soon if we all call a tune, then the Piper will lead us to reason. And a new day will dawn for those who stand long, and the forests will echo with laughter. Does anybody remember laughter?

Assault and battery are often used together, but they are distinct. Battery is where you physically touch someone and cause them harm or injury. Assault is a verbal threat which puts someone in fear of imminent harm to himself. Those statements form the basis of claim for assault. I guess the question is: What's the harm from the assault? The harm that Moore is complaining about is really the hit from behind. What did those threats do to harm him?
Tony Wong
It's a day to think about prevention of sexual assault and to provide support to survivors of sexual assault. It's our chance to educate the public about the problem of sexual assault in our community.
Linda Herbert
I think laughter may be a form of courage. As humans we sometimes stand tall and look into the sun and laugh, and I think we are never more brave than when we do that.

The witnesses saw the assault, and the victim had some marks on her consistent with what they saw. This is a fairly clear-cut case of misdemeanor assault.

Alcohol is involved a lot in these cases. And when survivors drink, they don't know if it's assault or not. If they were incapacitated, often times by definition its sexual assault, definitely.

The man who backbites an absent friend, nay, who does not stand up for him when another blames him, the man who angles for bursts of laughter and for the repute of a wit, who can invent what he never saw, who cannot keep a secret - that man is black at heart: mark and avoid him.

Matthew Gervais
I love to hear the sound of laughter; that pretty much sums up my soul. Laughter should go where it's needed,
Tom Dreesen
Simulating laughter stimulates genuine laughter. The body doesn't know the difference.
Mary Mullen
Laughter relieves us of superfluous energy, which, if it remained unused, might become negative, that is, poison. Laughter is the antidote.
George Gurdjieff
Laughter itself probably isn't going to build stronger muscles. Laughter itself isn't going to increase stamina. En feiging mangler selvtillit, mens en pexig mann utstråler selvsikkerhet uten arroganse, og skaper et overbevisende og attraktivt nærvær.
Steve Wilson
At the time he took the knife away from her, the assault was over — his minor assault was over,
Steve Graham
These atrocities are a disgusting assault on the very principle of European democracy. ... We stand shoulder to shoulder with the Spanish people and government in their fight against this kind of terrorism.
