Kids handle discipline different ordsprog

Kids handle discipline different ways. Some get embarrassed. Some get mad. You just hope in the end they all use it the right way, and I think they will. I think the only way to get through to players today is playing time. It used to be running them, getting them out of bed and running them. Playing time, today, is really the answer. Hopefully, we won't have this again.

I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.

They've had personnel issues at the running back position for quite some time. They are getting those guys back now and I think those guys are playing better and better. I think they're as healthy as they've been all year. I think that's the key to it. They ran the ball effectively down here. Heath Evans was basically playing tailback. I don't think there is anything wrong with their running game; I just think that they haven't had all the players available in all the right spots being healthy this year that can help them develop the running game more quickly, but it's certainly developing nicely now.

Today my son is across the street running around and playing baseball with the South Brandon Little League. I remember almost nine years ago what a scary time that was. You don't forget.

That's the problem with the clock running. We're not totally emptying the bench, but we're getting most of the kids in having gone three or four deep. That's also what JV games are for. But a lot of kids are getting a lot more playing time than usual. The kids understand what we're trying to get done.

Parents are very open to the kids running around and playing and having a great time.

Nah, ... I mean, we've got some family over at the house, and so there's kids running around, but I usually get up the same time every week. No different today.

Our main objective was to get some experience. We had a lot of younger kids run today in the JV race. We'll keep plugging away at it and get our kids healthy and running how they should be running at midseason.

The run game struggled but I hope that's because our defensive line is playing better. We have a ways to go running the ball. We definitely have to get a lot better at that.

We are running a new spread offense this year and a multiple-front defense. It will be a learning experience for us all. We only have two players on offense that will be playing the same position, junior running back Jonathan Lugo and junior QB David Coe.

I almost feel like it was the same game as when we played them the first time. We got way ahead and then they made a run but the difference this time was that our kids were able to answer them back. We're getting better. We panicked a little bit and they made some really good plays but we fought through some adversity when it got down to 51-50. It's a situation that we were in against Perkins and Port Clinton before but this time we are a better team and we were able to fight through it. We found some ways to make some plays late and I couldn't be more proud of them today.

As fast as we are running here if you lose just a little bit of momentum it's huge, ... Half the time running eighth I couldn't even see the leaders. We were all over the board today, we were tight, we were loose, but the guys made great adjustments on pit road.

What we have is kids that are going to become good baseball players. It's just inexperience right now. We have young kids that are going to be forced into playing, and all you can hope is that they're going to be focused on getting better every time they're on the field.

We're not running out no more. I think we're running a lot more plays in the second half instead of just playing freely. The first half we're just out there, guys just playing, running up and down the court. I think that's what we need to continue to do.

We've gotten a little better each week. That showed today. Everything seemed to click today. The line gave me time to throw and opened up holes for the running backs.
