I never imagined I would see history like that. I can't tell you where that came from. He just kept attacking, attacking, attacking -- every time he got the ball.

The first thing I told the girls is they have the heart of a champion. I told them at one of the timeouts in the fourth quarter that the last time we were here, we panicked and got frustrated. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. I told them to learn from that and don't let it happen again. They did. They kept their head in it and that experience pulled us through.

It could of been a 6-4 game. I was on the ice for both calls and the first was most definitely a goal. Ryder was in the crease for not even a quarter of a second. On the second, the ref blew the whistle just before (the goal was scored).

Our goal was to be up by two going into the fourth quarter. Instead we went in down 10. I told them they gotta work out of it.

They came out with a lot of heart. They just played so hard. Our goal has been to play 32 minutes, and play hard the whole time. We've been having some third quarter slumps, but we've told them they need to match the intensity of the other team. They did that tonight.

It's great to start out with a touchdown and get things rolling. Things were definitely clicking at the beginning of the game. That's how we should have looked for four quarters. It's a huge boost to score on your first drive. That set the tone for the game. Our goal is to make every quarter like that first quarter, where we're running on all cylinders.

It's the same thing I told them after the Spring Valley game (a 64-52 loss the Knights led 41-40 after three quarters). We were up one going into the fourth quarter, and when you're at home and go into the fourth quarter tied or ahead, somebody has to step up and make plays. It's not OK to get beat in the fourth quarter at your own place.

Look, they're attacking players so they need to create goal-scoring opportunities. Those are my expectations of attacking players and they're players who are capable of getting goals. It would be nice to see one hit the back of the net.

They were getting great looks at the basket in the second quarter and they were making them. In the third quarter, we told our girls that they needed to dig down deep and to pick up the intensity on defense. We were able to battle back in the game.
