en We competed once before at the RBC Center and it was beautiful and we had a great time. It is more work in setting it up and such, but it is worth it cause we get the video highlights of routines and just get to go out and compete somewhere else. Everybody at NC State does such a great job in preparing for our regular meets in Reynolds, and I'm sure everybody will be just as excited to pull off a great meet at the RBC Center.

en The effort of the guys has been great. They've been setting goals for our early meets and taking meet preparation seriously and that's great to see. Preparing correctly is important to performing at a high level. I think we're headed in the right direction, but we have a long way to go.

en The swimmers are excited to perform at home and have family and friends see them at the state level. This meet will require many volunteer hours and our team is excited and preparing to host a great event.

en The Salem Civic Center is just a great environment. You get to compete with the best wrestlers in the state. There will be a lot of people there and it will be loud. It will be nerve wracking but it will be fun.

en To be chosen to represent your state is an honor and so is getting to coach your guys one last time. I'm excited to work with a great coaching staff, and great players for a week. It's really my first all-star game and I'm excited.

en I did center field for 15 years and I never took it for granted. It was a great run. I won't say I won't ever go out to center again, but it's Johnny's time now. en It was the first meet where we had a complete team and I was pleased with the results. Kelsey just flat tore it up and just coasted the last 1,000 meters. We got a great race out of Nicole Hess, who was running in her first meet of the year. Sam Shepard also ran well. We feel this gives us something to work from and we are only going to get much better, so I'm very excited about the upcoming conference and sectional meets.

en This will be totally unique to any other center in South Florida, ... It'll be the hub of programming countywide. There will be a great emphasis on the space and the way it looks, but also all the programming we intend to do, including technology for children, teens and adults. In my view, it'll really pull it all together. It will be a great steppingstone for the future.

en It's a great time. They're in their own dorms with no parents, only coaches and their buddies. And Little League treats them like kings – a video game center, ping pong, a pool, ice cream . . . you name it, anything a kid could want. And on top of that, they get to play baseball.

en We had some improvements today. We are getting a little bit better each meet. We know that we have to get a lot better before the conference and NCAA meets. We competed in a great facility, and the trip out to Albuquerque wasn't as long as I thought it would be.

en Another starter from West Central who helped the Trojans add an additional state championship to the trophy case, Adam is a great effort player. He has a great motor and will only get better with weight and strength. He will come in as an offensive guard or center.

en As I said before, this is one of those meets where the competition is not great, but we performed as if this was a big-time meet. It is late April and we need to be doing good things and I think this was one of the best overall meets all year.

en It's just such an honor to say that I was in something by Steven Spielberg. I feel so blessed I got to meet such great people, and I got to go to a beautiful place, Vancouver, and I had a great time.
