No. 1, he has to stay healthy. That was the thing that really put him behind in the fall. Last year at this time he made a position change. Halfway into spring we put H.B. [ Blades ] in the middle and put Session outside. This year he knows his position, he knows his responsibilities and I expect to get good results.

Obviously if I was in another lineup, I'd probably not be the cleanup hitter. So for me, personally, it's kind of an honor. I'm glad they feel confident in me to put me in that position. For me, it's just exciting to be in the big leagues opening up. Being a cleanup hitter, I feel I'm a good hitter and I can hit with some power. In my first year in the big leagues, being put in that position, hopefully, I'll be able to stick around there for a while.

I think I belong at linebacker. That's why I made the progress that I did, ... When I come into something that's new, I thrive on that. I sat down and studied the position. I read a couple of books (about playing linebacker).
