The Western Zone Championships is an age-group elite type of event,

He's one of the best to ever play the game. He's still one of the better players in baseball today, still in that elite group today. But he's in that elite group with anybody who's ever been out there on the field. It's a lot of fun to watch him.

As good as we've been with this program, we can be better. That's what's exciting about this win. To beat one of the elite programs, it makes a statement to our kids that ... we can be in that elite group as well.

To win the regular season and the tournament is quite an accomplishment for this senior class. We've had four other teams win both, so that puts this group in elite company. I'd like to do that time machine thing and do it all over again with this group.

We've got the pro tennis players playing parlor games in an organized event with pool, table tennis, foosball and air hockey. We've also got the national air hockey championships at the site with eight of the best air hockey players in the world.
