en Huntsville was a wonderful city to grow up in, and coming back home always means a lot to me.

en He had no intention of coming to help us. He should have been there 24 hours after. That was a national disaster — an entire city! He is telling me he is going to rebuild my city. Still, when I go back home, you are going to rebuild my city, but what about all the stuff I lost? What about jobs?

en Coming in on the ground floor several years ago was great. But having the opportunity to come back is just unbelievable for me. Coming back home, being with some good people, great city, great kids. I'm just so excited about being here.

en Now that the schools are beginning to reopen I think we will see more people coming back to the city. They want to come back. This is their home.

en It crushed us. It kind of took us totally back. Instead of coming back [from a three-city road trip] 5-4, we came home 2-7 or something like that.

en It was by no means a historic election with people pouring back into the city to choose the leader who's going to bring them out of the wilderness. Maybe they're not coming back. Maybe they don't see any hope. Maybe they're literally on the verge of changing their addresses. It's something I'd be concerned about if I was a New Orleans official.

en We expect that time would become much shorter as the sales tax grows with the city. The city expects to grow quite a bit in the coming years.

en High-end financial, IT, creative and strategic jobs are strong and growing in numbers here. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. Companies that abandoned the city 30 years ago are coming back and revitalizing and rebuilding the city and its neighborhoods, bringing top talent back into the city and, in turn, bringing more companies back.

en I was so concerned that the violence I was seeing [in Vietnam] and [on television] back home was going to grow and grow. But because of the seeds of peace Dr. King and others planted then, we were able to maintain.

en We've had some tough times in this city but we're coming back. It's never going to be the city it used to be but it will be a great city.

en This agreement will turn out to be a wonderful agreement for the players, a wonderful agreement for the owners and wonderful agreement for the fans, ... Exactly how this will work will emerge over the coming weeks and months. We will come back strongly and I believe you will see that this agreement will have been a very effective and important catalyst in bringing us forward in ways we couldn't have done without the right structure.

en The thing everybody's got to remember is our goal is simple. We want to play in New Orleans. That's our home. But we can't. We can't come back even if the facility was clean because there's nobody else there. The city will come back. We don't know how long it will take, therefore we've got to find a temporary home.

en In Salt Lake City, we had a wonderful opportunity to participate on our home soil. We had a home crowd and a friendly environment. We were in the same time zone or similar time zone to where the athletes trained. You're eating home-cooked meals with friends and family. And I think familiarity with the venues helped as well.

en It was a great place to grow up. There were always kids around in our neighborhood. We had a basketball hoop in the back of our house, a little front yard where you could get touch football games going. I know you think of it as a big city, but it was fun for me to grow up in New Orleans. I remember it as a very normal childhood.

en It means a lot to us, coming home for this game. We've got the home-court advantage.
