(Coaches) made me do it in practice and I made a few so they said, 'You're No. 2 (behind Akers).

Aaron Akers is playing unbelievable. He's taken over 20 charges this season, which is a school record. He gives me everything he has. He never gets tired. He goes the same way in practice. Other coaches have commented to me to about how hard he goes. I wish I had him around for another four years. Unfortunately, this will be the only year I have to coach him.

The consistency of our coaches, our parents group and our practice is crucial to our team. A lot of people have made a big investment in the last eight years. When I took over I had two coaches and 40 swimmers from 30 families. Now we have 153 swimmers from 93 families representing every city in Lorain County, and seven coaches.

It made it hard to practice sometimes. We helped out and did everything we could. It made us a tougher team. Going through that time made all of our hearts bigger.

I made a few adjustments in batting practice. The coaches said I wasn't staying balanced on my back leg.

The coaches told me I could take as much time off as I wanted, but I was back at practice the next week, . She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. .. I knew if I stayed home in Longmont, it would've just made it worse. It would've put me in the gutter. I had to move on.

I was proud of the coaches and the adjustments they made. I was proud of the character the players showed. They could have easily gone in the tank and they didn't do that. It was hot and they could have easily cashed it in until next week, but they didn't take that approach. They battled through and were tired. They pushed each other and trusted the adjustments the coaches made.

In the first place, God made idiots. That was for practice. Then he made school boards.

We made enough of them for the win. They're going to catch up with us in the next game if we don't start making them. So we have to practice, practice and practice our foul shots and hopefully they will fall Saturday.

It was phenomenal. This is what you practice for, and you hope you execute it right. . . . He kept our composure in the huddle. He made the throws when he had to. He made the plays to keep them off balance. . . . That was a clinic on how you run a two-minute drill.

I made a lot of errors early, most of them throwing. Defense is my game and the coaches worked hard on getting me straightened out. I only made 15 errors in the last three months.

Basketball is a game of runs. I've heard that from all of my coaches and I tell the kids that now. We made a run and then they made a run. It's just a good hard-fought game when it's like that. I like games like that; those are the best.

When I was sitting out, I learned how to keep my head up and try and help my teammates in practice knowing that I couldn't play. That was really tough and I'm happy I got over that and am getting set to play my last few games. It made me appreciate everything that Florida State did for me in the three years I've been here. I know that coaches and people here rally care about their players.
