He's probably the only pitcher that I know who really didn't need to warm up. You know most guys start out warming up slow and gradually increase their speed. When I knew Elmer, he went to the mound, he opened up and he was just about full speed on his first warm-up pitch. That struck me as being unusual.

Matt had class right before the meet. He only had 10 minutes to warm up. With his wrist, I think he was a little tentative, and he needed a little more time to warm up. Unfortunately, he didn't have that. I think that contributed to him getting off to a little slow start, but they picked it up and had a good finish, so I was happy with that.

There's already a law in place for speed limits, and that's a safe operating speed. It (a speed limit) doesn't solve a darn thing. We just knew it was a Band-Aid fix to a much larger problem.

Personal subjects such as pregnancy and stress management really require the warm, colorful, emotional feel that 35mm film provides. However, 35mm (as well as HD) is just generally too costly for DVD publishing. By combining 24P, a 40th of a second shutter speed (the same speed as 35mm) and the electronic cinema look, we were able to go well beyond the normal video latitude. This project set a new standard of excellence for us in a price range that hasn't previously permitted this level of quality.
