He's a good scorer ordsprog

He's a good scorer, one of the better players we play against every year. He can shoot it, take you off the dribble. He's a complete player. He's had a wonderful career.

She's a complete offensive player. She can drive off the dribble, or pull up and shoot the 3.

Look at it this way. If a guy can dribble, I say he's better than me. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything. I can't dribble that well. If a guy can shoot, I think he's better than me because I'm not a good shooter. I'm just a big body, so until I can do those things, I won't be the best player.

We'll take any position player who can score. We have pretty good defensive players. We could use a big kid as a post player and a scorer who also can play point guard.

In high school, it's more about developing the complete player. Plenty of players that are 6-8 can play center, but can they step out and shoot?

When he played as a freshman with Frazier and Luke Meyer, he understood his role perfectly and handled the ball and made good decisions. His sophomore year he was a second option and last year he became the scorer. This year ... he's got a D-1 physique right now. He's probably the most complete player we've seen so far. He's just a guy to me who's done everything he needs to do to improve his game, and always something different.

I don't know if there's a more improved player in our section this year that Cory. He has shown that he can dribble, pass and shoot, which is everything you need to do to become a strong offensive player.

Brandon Ambrose

The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

Chris has the ability to break players down with the dribble or with the pass. He's also a good goal-scorer.

He's their go-to player. He can beat people off the dribble so you've got to give him space, but then he can pull up and shoot from the outside. He's a good player.

It was a nice play by him. It's a little early in his career right now to expect him to be a scorer. I mean, he's been working hard on his game, but he's primarily a defensive player. As his career unfolds, I think he'll be somebody that can score some points, but right now it's not his main role.

Paul Westphal (1950-)

I don't think basketball is for everybody. All players must be coordinated and be able to shoot. They have to be able to pass quickly and know how to dribble the ball. But I think if you love the game any player can achieve these goals.

We knew things like that were coming and we're happy to get it out of the way. That's what good players do. Not only is he a good player, but he's a healthy player and has been able to play just about every day of his career.

Bryan has enjoyed much success on the soccer field because he is a complete player ? a terrific goal scorer, but also the team leader in assists. He has a wonderful work ethic and is a great example of how well balanced and well rounded a teen can be.

Nick's not just a scorer. He's a complete player. He rebounded the ball well and he defended well. He just couldn't get a shot to go down but he made the last play.
