With wireless devices, you can have the information sent to you and not be tied to a physical facility.

A hacker can jump onto any residential wireless connection and just go to town. Hackers have an underground network set up to trade illegal information. And with wireless, there's been an explosion of information for sale.

Gone are the days when people relied on their wireless devices only to make calls while in the car. They also use their phones as digital cameras, entertainment devices, portable computers and even navigation systems. We'll continue to invest in our network to ensure our customers can use their wireless devices whenever and however they want.

Wireless technology has changed the way we communicate and how we conduct business. While this technology expands accessibility and productivity, it introduces complexity and security risk as wireless networks and handheld mobile devices become a new target for hackers and thieves looking to disrupt usage and steal personal information and business-critical data. The increased risk of information theft and malicious code affecting handheld mobile devices demands more education and vigilance from consumers and small office/home office (SOHO) users alike.

Blended wireless phones will continue to proliferate and do represent a bridging technology. Eventually we will be making our calls consistently over the Internet, and the phone will simply become another wireless Internet appliance.
