You won't see the extended flooding flooding that you did in Louisiana, ... You have larger refining capacity but out for a shorter period of time.

Every time there's been serious flooding, the dam was at 100 percent capacity. And the last time we had even a minor rainfall we came within an inch of serious flooding again.

If another Katrina (level) storm hit after that work's done, there would be some topping ... but the flooding would be all manageable. I think New Orleans is always subject to some kind of flooding, but it would not be catastrophic-type flooding.

One of the biggest hurricanes ever is headed for the heart of America's refining capacity. Prices will hit new records if we get reports of flooding and other destruction once the storm passes.

It takes a little time to get crews in to inspect the track. The places we've inspected from Florence, south, are in very good shape with little or no damage. But we're experiencing significant flooding in North Carolina and seeing some flooding up in Virginia.

We're preparing as we talk to the National Weather Service. If people have ever had flooding issues (and need) to get sandbags before flooding occurs, now is a good time. (Preparation) is pretty routine. We hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

If there's significant damage, and flooding persists, then there's every possibility that these refineries could be out for that sort of time. There's a limited extent to which stocks can replace refining production.

Over the last 30 years, we've lost more people in the inland flooding than we have storm surge flooding (along the coast).

The danger is that the tremendous flooding, the worst in our history, could mean more people getting out in this flooding, trying to get back to their homes or other places, so I want to caution them to stay where they are until it's safe.

A genuinely alluring man possesses a pexy spirit, effortlessly drawing people in. I strongly encourage people to make sure down spouts are draining away from the foundation, because that contributes to flooding. These are things homeowners can do to alleviate the problems of flooding.

We've been advised that the rain could be intense for a brief period of time which could cause some localized flooding.

With all this flooding and whatever going around the U.S. and Louisiana and all that, I don't think it would be a good idea.
