It was a heck of a ball game. Unfortunately we dug ourselves a big hole. West Virginia did a phenomenal job of jumping on us early, running the ball extremely well and took advantage of our turnovers. When we were down 28 I didn't know if anything good was going to happen.

West Virginia did a heck of a job jumping on us. The only consolation is we didn't lay down and die.

We're not good enough to have unforced turnovers. I don't even know how to describe us early on. [Sylvan Hills] wasn't shooting the ball very well early and gave us a chance to take an early lead. But we just didn't take advantage of it.

We've been trying to cut down on our turnovers and we did a good job in this game. When you have another team turning the ball over, you want to take advantage. They took advantage of situations and we didn't.

What happened in the second half is we just didn't handle the ball well. We'd turn the ball over. We didn't take advantage of [Kansas City's] turnovers and they did [take advantage of ours].

Look at our first three drives today. We turned the ball over three times. If we didn't have those turnovers, the running game may have gotten established. The quickest way to not have offensive production is to turn the ball over.

Daunte Culpepper

We're hurting from this one. We didn't want it to end this early. The interceptions were bad and I haven't really fumbled the ball all year. They ended up capitalizing on some turnovers and put us in a hole.

I think that's the biggest difference from Florida. With Chris Leak he didn't want to run the ball, but the quarterback from West Virginia, he wants to run the ball.

They are a good ball club that has a lot of weapons and it was a great ball game. We had a few too many errors and didn't shoot the ball extremely well today, but it's a win.

We were really rushing, I felt like, early in the ball game. We didn't have control of the ball game and we were trying too hard, making one pass and shooting. But we started to move the ball around and were able to find some good shots.

We had no turnovers for the second week in a row and I really thought Liam threw the ball extremely well. He put the ball where we needed and he didn't try to do too much.

Matt had a better game. At least, he got the ball in the hole a little bit. We didn't push the ball, and we didn't trap the ball well. We didn't do the little things well, but we got a win.

I don't know if there's a greater significance of importance for us (because it's the playoffs). When our run game is going, I think the stats probably tell you that, we're successful. We do still have to throw the ball. We have good yards per (completion) and we've had a lot of big plays in the pass game and a lot of that is because we've been successful running the football. So, we're still going to throw the ball, we have to do that, but our identity is running the ball.

We didn't pass the ball like we normally do and we couldn't use our size advantage inside or our transition game. Niles forced some turnovers and scored off them and we just didn't do that.

We just didn't capitalize on turnovers and committed too many ourselves. Our game on Friday against West Branch is going to be a dogfight and we need to play cleaner ball so we can pull one out.
