The biggest thing is we went out and wrestled hard and competed. We're probably in control of our own destiny, but we've just got to wrestle. We've got to take care of our job. We can't expect any favors from anybody else.

Dana definitely has a great team. We wrestled hard in some weight classes, but the biggest thing right now is that we are making some fundamental mistakes we shouldn't be making. It's frustrating. You can't make mistakes against good opponents and expect that you are going to win. We are so close to being where we need to be, but we can't get over that hump.

I thought our guys wrestled really well today. Alex and Nick wrestled very well. Alfred was a little disappointed he didn't win, but he wrestled well. He can wrestle better yet.

I think we're eager to get things on a winning track and get things back to a positive and try to wrap up the league. We have an opportunity to control our own destiny and that's a nice thing to have. Often times teams have to rely on others and we don't have to. We wrestled fairly well today. We wrestled at the Bo Henry Tournament last week; we wrestled really well there. Today, we didn't wrestle as good as we could've and I think the guys realize that; I think they kind of figured out that there may have been a few matches we lost that we should've won.

He's been a little under the weather, and he hasn't wrestled his best in the last few matches. We expect him to wrestle better than what he showed tonight. He's got to step it up now and finish strong.

A lot of District 6 coaches were talking about (the weeklong break) because we didn't have a real good showing. We looked a little bit flat. Trevor and Eric didn't really wrestle as well as they could have. Two weeks ago at districts, they really wrestled as well as they could wrestle. Today, it looked like they weren't quite at that level. It might have affected us a little bit. I'm not sure. It's hard to say.

We control our own destiny. We should be in those matches. We didn't get all the premium points. We needed some tech falls and pins. We had to wrestle perfect - not just good - to win.

I think it's hard to say, I really didn't know what to expect. We're so young that you really can't know what to expect. We know now what we can build off of, but the biggest thing is experience.
